Acetal – POM – Pellets / Scrap for Sale
Polyoxymethylene (POM), Acetal, is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. As with many other synthetic resins, it is produced by different chemical manufacturers at plants around the world. Some of the POM trade names are: Hostaform, Celcon, Delrin (homopolymer) and Kepital to name just a few.
Examples of some of the items that are made from Acetal (POM) are: lock systems, knife handles, small gears and wheels, fasteners, zippers.
